Our approach

More considered production decisions, at every stage.

We help brands make better choices before production starts around material selection, batch size and what actually makes sense for their project. Not a sustainability policy. Just a more practical approach.

A different way of thinking

Starting with the right quantity matters more than it gets credit for

Overproduction is one of the most common and most avoidable problems in garment development. We build it into the conversation from the start — not as a policy, but as practical advice about what tends to work.

That means starting with the right quantity, choosing materials that suit the project and being honest about what is available and what makes sense. It is less about being perfect and more about making a more considered choice.

The most sustainable production run is the one that doesn't produce more than you can sell.

Responsible fabric selection
How we think

Three principles we try to live by.

These are not policies or certifications — they are the practical things we try to do better with each project.

Start with the right fabric

We present material options that fit your project, not just what's easiest to source. Surplus, stock and specific responsible materials available where relevant.

Produce what you actually need

We push back on overoptimistic run sizes. A smaller, well-planned production run almost always performs better than a large speculative one.

Say what's true

Honest communication about what your production involves is better for your brand long-term.

What we commit to

What we will and won't do

These are not certification claims or policy statements. They are the practical standards we hold ourselves to in every project.

We guide fabric choices honestly

We suggest options based on what is available and suitable for your project — not what looks best in marketing copy.

We encourage appropriate quantities

We will always discuss whether your planned quantity makes sense for your stage, goal and storage capacity.

We are transparent about availability

Fabric options, surplus availability and material characteristics change. We will tell you what is actually available at the time of your project.

We do not make claims we cannot back up

If a fabric is not certified or a process is not verified, we will not suggest language that implies it is.

We will not greenwash your collection

We can help you communicate your production choices honestly — but we will not write marketing copy that overstates what a project has achieved.

Material direction

Fabric options that fit the project (including deadstock)

We source from mills and suppliers we know directly. Where surplus or responsible materials are available and appropriate, we flag them as an option. We will always be clear about what's available versus what requires sourcing lead time.

Availability changes by season, material and quantity. We will always be clear about what is available and what is a best match for your project — not what sounds best in a marketing context.
